Theoretically we cannot completely eliminate the possibility of an intelligent designer because there is no piece of evidence which states on 'pure truth and concious knowledge' that there is none. Which is why most of us prefer to say that we are up to 99.9% certain there is no creator, based on the heavy amount of evidence generally against it.

Most atheists are "agnostic atheists" - They do not believe in a god but are not 100% sure there is defiantly not a god. I don't even know what a "atheist agnostic" is !?

Spread of information = drop in attendance to a Church, not necessarily a loss of faith. You can still have some form of faith while rejecting organized religion, noting more of the rise in agnostics. I consider myself an agnostic... perhaps there was something intelligent that created everything, but I'm not going to listen to some religious nutjob that thinks a man walked on water without the use of technology. Unless, of course, he was running on a non-Newtonian fluid... but still, sticks don't turn into snakes and people can't come back from the dead.

I think I can speak for most of my country men and say that Sweden would like to give a shout out to all agnostic and atheist poeple in England for continued support of a psychologically healthier secular society built on reason and logic where we can all live together in harmony without prejudice towards each other.

The large increase in non-Christian religions is due to immigration, I believe.

In the last census I think the figure for church attendance was 9% so a hell of a lot of that 71% of "christians" are not very sincere about it and probably only consider themselves Christian because they went to a CofE school or something.

That could be largely due to immigration. I can't cite the report that I've read but a similar census about Toronto, Canada claimed this to be the case for a steep increase in Muslims.

Overall its a decrease in religion though because there are so many fewer Muslims, Hindus and Budhists in England.

Roughly 71% of UK citizens are Christian. 2.7% are Muslim, 1% are Hindu and 0.3 are Budhists.

Well... I wouldn't call the large increases in Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists as the fall of religion. One day they all will fall and I'm sure the internet will play a big roll but we can't rest on our laurels just yet.
